Lemur

Lemur is an indie rock band based in Utrecht and Berlin, with roots in Istanbul. Lemur's songs tell stories about growing up, finding your way through different cities, and searching for meaning somewhere between the past and the present. Their dreamy, playful sound is understated and slightly dark, yet always with a touch of joy and hope. It takes you on a journey like that of a lemur, wandering into memories of a distant past that remains vividly present.
On October 30th, Lemur will release their debut album yeniden . The album is named after the single of the same name, which was released in August 2026. The word yeniden, which means ‘again’, ties into the band's own story: after a long hiatus that began in Istanbul, Lemur reunited in 2024, this time between Utrecht and Berlin. Lemur is both a continuation and a new beginning: the band reflects on the past, creates new memories, and tells new stories together, all over again.
