For everyone who likes to walk on the edge: Walk the Line. An evening where country doesn't stay neatly within the lines, and americana, folk, indie, rock, and bluegrass happily romp together. From melancholic singer-songwriters and gritty guitar songs to banjos, fiddles, punky roots, and a floor full of line dancers. Pull on your boots, brace yourself, and Walk the Line!

villagerrr

‍

Villagerrr is the project of American songwriter Mark Scott. On his fifth album Carousel he moves effortlessly from slowcore and shoegaze to log-cabin folk and sprawling indie rock. Big, melancholic songs for empty highways and long drives, where vulnerability, doubt, and a longing for something genuine converge. Scott makes music that feels both intimate and grand: sometimes small enough to hear every detail, sometimes like an approaching storm taking over the entire landscape.

‍

With Carousel Scott builds on the collaborative spirit that emerged around his previous record Tear Your Heart Out from 2024, which led to tours with the likes of Real Estate, Greg Freeman, and Momma. On the new album, he collaborates with various emerging folk and indie rock artists, including Boone Patrello of Teethe, h. pruz, and Carolina Chauffe of Hemlock. A record that takes a critical look at the world around us, but above all shows what can happen when you let your guard down and let others in.

Mail for Sil

‍

Mail for Sil proves that modern americana and folk can still sound innovative. Their songs are catchy, lush, and tough, yet simultaneously tender and full of space. Storytelling is central, with lyrics that explore the tension between opposites: homesickness and belonging, isolation and connection, self-sabotage and healing. For fans of Karen Dalton, Fairport Convention, Buck Meek, Laura Marling, and Sharon Van Etten.

‍

After sold-out shows with Coos, FEMI, and Jacob Drescher, among others, during their triple-bill folk tour, Mail for Sil isn't slowing down. Three brand-new singles are set to be released in the near future. Expect americana with a unique character, strong melodies, and songs that linger somewhere between familiar and elusive.

Them Peckin' Boys

‍

Them Peckin’ Boys have become an essential part of the Haarlem music scene. While they once started as a quartet aiming to stay as close as possible to the roots of country and bluegrass, the band has since grown into a quirky roots machine where rock, punk, ska, and a touch of psychedelia have also found their place. Banjos, guitars, crystal-clear harmonies, and a solid original repertoire form the foundation.

‍

The result is music made to move to. A well-oiled band that just as easily launches into a traditional bluegrass lick as a healthy dose of rock ’n’ roll. Expect high energy, tight vocal harmonies, and plenty of room to push the boundaries of country and roots.

LEADBEATERS

‍

LEADBEATERS are an Amsterdam-based string band that is actually far too rock ’n’ roll for a folky outfit. Their folky-punky mixed grill consists of American traditionals, old-time, rhythm & blues, bluegrass, cajun, and a dash of cumbia. Fiddle, guitar, mandolin, double bass, and vocal harmonies form the basis, but banjos, slide guitars, spoons, harps, and washboards are just as likely to pop up.

‍

The result is a danceable, unpredictable ode to the hopeless, the freeloaders, the troublemakers, and other misfits. Like-minded musicians frequently join in to pick, pluck, and saw along, ensuring that no two performances are ever the same. Their debut album was released on June 19, 2026 Juice In The Crank. Come and see it for yourself.

STOMP

‍

Time to actually lace up those boots. Justin is a gay, non-binary line-dancing teacher for STOMP, a queer line-dance party based in Amsterdam. Over the past year, they have gotten many a crowd moving with classic country dances mixed with today’s favorite tracks.

‍

No experience necessary, just a bit of nerve. So dust off your boots, shake that ass, and get ready to STOMP.
