Rotterdam-based Eva van Manen is a songwriter, artist, and music producer who weaves pop, electronica, and spoken word into a genre-defying sound that balances protest with vulnerability.
Eva van Manen’s third album Tussenruimte (April 2026) explores the longing for different forms of togetherness: platonic, romantic, and societal, within a fragmented world. This act of bringing things together is intrinsically rooted in Eva’s instincts as an artist—merging forms and disciplines as a producer, singer-songwriter, and poet. It is precisely this "in-between space" that has defined Eva’s work thus far: between politics and love, word and sound, protest and vulnerability, humanity and nature. On Tussenruimte Eva embraces a wide range of influences in both style and lyrics: the quiet, inner world and the rhythmic outer world.
The cover illustration shows Eva clad in her spacesuit, surrounded by sunlight and oxygen. It is a telling image of someone breaking free from distorted perceptions. Within that apparent contradiction, Tussenruimte operates on a nascent yet powerful tension, between setting boundaries and yearning for intimacy. This forms the core of the album—and the search for a shared space.

LUKA
Luka writes from the twilight zone, where vision fades and something new begins, uninhibited. Balancing between feeling and thinking, hovering between nostalgia and grounding, she takes you to a world where the unknown slowly finds solid ground. With her warm voice, she sings of alienation, loss, and longing, turning them into hopeful echoes.
Inspired by artists such as Adrianne Lenker, Feist, Thom Yorke, and Julianna Barwick, Luka creates an intimate listening world where electro-pop, folk, and soul meet.
