With the release of her debut album Feel At Home on September 18th, ISHA marks a significant creative milestone. The twelve-track album is the first time the Dutch producer, singer-songwriter, and bassist has independently written, produced, and shaped an entire project from start to finish. With her vocals woven throughout most of the tracklist, the album reveals a more vulnerable, unfiltered side of the Dutch artist, inviting listeners deeper into her world than ever before.
At just 25 years old, ISHA is breaking boundaries as a Dutch queer producer, bassist, and multi-instrumentalist. She has performed at events including the Montreux Jazz Residency and Istanbul Jazz, released music through international labels, and toured internationally with her two-piece act alongside drummer Maxie Cheer (Kate Nash), sharing stages with Marcus Miller, Adi Oasis, Franc Moody, YĪN YĪN, and Young Franco. She has worked in the studio with artists such as Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei, and Blue Lab Beats, and has appeared at festivals and venues ranging from the London Jazz Festival and Brick Lane Jazz to Eurosonic and The Great Escape. Her entirely self-written and produced debut album Feel At Home is being released via Sidekick Music and has received support from outlets including BBC 1Xtra, BBC Radio 6, FIP Radio, KEXP, WYEP, 3voor12, Stereofox, RTBF Jam, NEUN Mag, and Iggy Magazine.
