Fearlessly inventive and gloriously theatrical, Rosalie Cunningham is one of the most distinctive voices in British rock. A multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, she first made a name for herself with Purson and Ipso Facto before launching her solo career in 2019 with a Mercury Prize-nominated debut album. Blending psychedelic rock, seductive pop and elaborate, theatrical arrangements, Cunningham creates a sound where swirling Hammond organs, duelling twin-lead guitars, fuzz bass, four-part harmonies and even flute come together in thrilling fashion. Her critically acclaimed releases have earned praise from publications including Classic Rock, Metal Hammer and Shindig!, with PROG Magazine naming her Female Vocalist of the Year in 2023.
With her third solo album, To Shoot Another Day, released in November 2024, Cunningham continued to push her musical vision into new territory, combining fearless artistry, rich storytelling and boundless imagination. Backed by a high-energy band of four virtuoso musicians, her magnetic live performances have taken her across the UK and Europe, including festival appearances at Sweden Rock, Cropredy, Herzberg and Woodstock Forever. Following 121 shows across 19 countries on her most extensive tour to date, she returns to Europe this autumn for the Breaking The Fourth tour, featuring songs from her upcoming album Rosalie’s Fourth, alongside favourites from her three previous solo albums and her days with Purson. Baroque ’n’ Roll, baby!
